Kerene Strochnetter Mindfulness Consultant, Mindful at Work
Kerene Strochnetter is the Managing Director of Mindful at Work – a business determined to bring mindfulness into the workplace - not just to reduce stress, but to change behaviour and transform culture. Mindfulness is much more than just meditating. It’s a set of robust well-researched practices, which when implemented, powerfully impact people’s lives. Her book ‘Crazy Busy’ - if busy is the new stupid, then mindful is the new smart - is for people who struggle to switch off and who are looking for ways to reconnect with what really matters (their life, career, health, wellbeing, and the people they love). Kerene is also co-author of programmes on the world’s leading workplace wellbeing app Awakened Mind app, and business partner for The Mindful Leader: Vertical Growth programme in New Zealand. Kerene has two adult sons and three grandsons. She enjoys minimalist apartment living, walking along the waterfront in the fabulous city of Wellington, writing, yoga (a bit of a fanatic really!), reading, movies, travelling to see family, and coffee with friends. She is known (somewhat infamously) for her love of shoes.
