Dr Kevin Ross
Director of AI and Data, Deloitte Health Partnerships

Dr Kevin Ross is a Director of AI and Data at Deloitte New Zealand. He specialises in helping organisations to create value from data using the latest technologies, while ensuring that trust is built in the process. Kevin was CEO of Precision Driven Health (PDH), an award-winning research partnership applying data science to enable precision health. PDH established collaborations between clinicians, data scientists and technology companies, applying the latest advances in AI and data analytics to generate health benefits and commercial products. He was also a Senior Vice President and Product Director of Analytics and Intelligence for Orion Health, a New Zealand-owned global healthcare platform managing over 100 million patients worldwide. Kevin is a Fellow of Health Informatics New Zealand, Chair of the Advisory Board for the Institute for Natural, Artificial and Organisational Intelligence, and a former member of the Digital Council of Aotearoa in 2022. Kevin was part of New Zealand’s COVID-19 response modelling team Te Pūnaha Matatini to receive the 2020 Prime Minister’s Science Prize, and a finalist for the 2021 IT Professional of the Year. He holds a Ph.D. from Stanford University.
